Dheekshitha Venkadeshan, popularly known as Dhee, was born on June 26, 1998, in Sri Lanka and grew up in Australia. Coming from a musical background, her mother, Meenakshi Iyer, is a classical singer, and her stepfather, Santhosh Narayanan, is a famous Tamil music composer. Dhee moved to India to follow her passion for music and started singing for Tamil cinema at a young age.
Her first major song was Disco Woman from Pizza II: Villa in 2013. However, she became widely recognized after singing Naan Nee in the film Madras. In 2021, Dhee’s career reached new heights with the release of Enjoy Enjaami, a song that went viral and brought her international attention. With her deep, soulful voice and her talent for blending Tamil and Western styles, Dhee has won the hearts of fans and continues to make an impact in the music industry.
